Sibelius 6.1. "Kaiku"

In the modern ballet piece Sibelius 6.1. ”Kaiku” (Echoe), the mind drifts slowly to a hypnagogic state and the world of dreams fades in.
What if dreams become more real than reality?
Sibelius 6.1. ”Kaiku” celebrates 100-year anniversary of Jean Sibelius’s 6th symphony by giving it a fresh recomposition. The discourse of melancholy, drama, and hope, that was built into the original work, is as relevant today, as it was in 1923. In the new rearrangement of 2023, Sibelius’s heritage salutes deep baselines, electric guitar, and node-based video installations.
The story line of the ballet is built on a question:
what is it that we avoid in our reality, that seeks us in our dreams?
In today’s world, the forever forward reaching and never stopping rush of life tends to flush away the delicate sensitivity and prism of emotions. Is night soon the only place to live the scope of those sensations?
